High growth, entrepreneur led businesses have always fascinated me – the founder’s personal story, what makes them tick and how their companies have evolved. I have built my career of over 25 years around this. Starting at Deloitte and then with more focused firms advising business services and technology companies on their strategy, fundraisings, acquisitions and exit events.
More latterly, I have worked at several buy and build platforms leading their acquisition efforts. This included heading up M&A at Air IT, a leading consolidator of UK MSPs. This sector specific “buy side” experience gives me a unique understanding of how MSPs really work, what a buyer is looking for and how to tailor the engagement with both acquirers and targets alike to optimise client shareholder value.
My approach is centred around what the shareholders are really striving for and working backwards from there…. be it a sale in three months or five years. A personal and integrity led relationship from day one.
